While there are fundraising platforms for crypto presales, such as Gempad and Pinksale, many of the highest-grossing launches occurred on self-hosted crypto launchpads operated by Web3Payments and promoted via Clickout Media. These projects were consistently featured across Clickout Media–controlled or affiliated review sites, advertorials, and influencer-driven distribution channels.

We decided to examine some of the most talked-about crypto presales from the past year that were promoted by Clickout Media and have already listed their tokens on a cryptocurrency exchange. Our goal was to determine whether the hype persisted after the token launch and how these digital assets performed following their listing. We were hoping to see at least some of these crypto projects deliver sustainable growth and strength.

Final Thoughts: When Hype Fails, and Research Pays Off
Looking at the numbers, the results are precise. All of the Clickout Media–promoted crypto presales reviewed in this analysis are now trading significantly below both their presale and listing prices. All of these projects followed the same formula: a template-based website, a short whitepaper, meme-style branding, vague token utility, and a high-budget crypto marketing campaign, but failed to deliver any lasting token value after launch.
EarthMeta AI, which at the time of our original publication roughly eight months ago retained most of its value relative to its presale price (showing only around a -3% ROI), has since declined by 74%. When we published our review last year of its crypto presale, we highlighted it favorably for its detailed whitepaper, ongoing product development, confirmed advisors, reasonable tokenomics, and a product launch before listing. While in the past all this helped to keep the price stable, today it looks like even this didn't help.
On the other hand, several projects on this list, such as Wall Street Pepe, Flockerz, and Pepe Unchained, were flagged in our reviews for issues including questionable marketing, vague utility, and lack of transparency. Their performance now reflects those early concerns, with most having declined by more than 90% from their presale price.
We believe that investors deserve better than hype-driven launches and recycled templates.
