Introduction

Here at TheHolycoins, we are always looking for upcoming crypto projects, and lately, we have come across a new presale token, called Lingo. Last week, many articles published articles claiming it's the best crypto to buy now. The project has been generating a lot of buzz across various channels, and with the significant amount of PR and marketing we've seen, it seemed odd that we hadn't heard of them before.

Since Lingo just launched their new token presale, we decided to review the project thoroughly and see if it's a good crypto investment, and to help you make an informed decision based on solid facts.

Before we dive in, please follow us on Twitter and Reddit to stay updated with our latest reviews and insights.

Team

Founders and Key Members

The project team is one of the first things we check in any crypto project, and Lingo’s team is fully doxxed, which is uncommon in the crypto world. We found many public professional profiles of team members, all with substantial connections and followers, showcasing impressive and relevant experience.

  • Hassam-Moussa Rawat, Co-Founder & CEO: LinkedIn
  • David Amsellem, Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board: LinkedIn
  • Adrien Hidalgo, CTO: LinkedIn
  • Milan Amin, CMO: LinkedIn

The presence of these professionals adds credibility to the project, which is crucial in the world of crypto presales.

Investors and Investments

Fundraising Success

Lingo has reported impressive fundraising achievements:

  • $35M Oversubscribed Seed
  • $12M Raised in Private Sale

These figures suggest strong investor interest and confidence in Lingo’s potential. The project's participation in global events and high-profile marketing campaigns, including funding a yacht party with Lady Of Crypto, support these claims. Such substantial fundraising in the crypto market is a testament to the project's viability.

Investor Verification

We verified several claimed investor names and found evidence of their crypto investments in Lingo. Such substantial fundraising, supported by a long list of investors across different rounds, enhances the project's credibility. Below are two examples of investors featuring their investment in Lingo on their website.

Business Model

Community-Driven Rewards

Lingo operates in a community model where members can earn vacation rewards in company-owned real estate properties, and also other types of digital asset rewards, through an extensive network of partnerships. Users are participating in a gamified environment, driving the ecosystem and potentially unlocking significant value. The project merges multi-billion dollar crypto market trends such as tokenized assets with Real World Assets (RWA), real estate, and retail consumer rewards, all indicating substantial potential. This innovative crypto project aims to bridge the gap between blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and real-world value.

If you want to read and know more about Lingo you can check out Lady Of Crypto's Twitter thread on them. She seems to have enjoyed their yacht party and now she is also writing good reviews about them. We really tried, but could not find in her coverage of the project, even one negative observation, or a single point for improvement about the project. Interesting...

Tokenomics

Lingo's tokenomics

Supply and Valuation

Let's do a short tokenomics analysis.

  • Total Token Supply: 1 billion tokens
  • Launch Price: $0.15 USD
  • Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV): $150 million

Unfortunately, the initial market cap at launch is not disclosed, making it difficult to calculate. The team has not clearly addressed whether advisors and partners receive tokens at the Token Generation Event (TGE), so we assume they do not. This implies an initial market cap between $6 million and $10 million. Understanding the tokenomics is crucial for anyone considering investing in this token presale.

Partnerships

Extensive Network

Lingo’s reward ecosystem has partnered with top Web3 projects like Magic Eden, Travala, and Fizen, and their total partnerships extend to over 3,000 brands, including Spotify, Netflix, Starbucks, Nike, and PlayStation, providing tangible value to users. We verified several of these claims through partners' official channels(See example in the link to Magic Eden), lending credibility to these partnerships. Such collaborations are vital for the success of new crypto tokens and upcoming crypto projects.

What We Didn’t Like

Information Gaps

For such a big project, a litepaper is insufficient. Lingo should have published a comprehensive whitepaper. Additionally, key information about tokenomics, such as market cap at launch and vesting schedules, was hard to find. This lack of transparency is a concern. Investors need detailed information to make informed decisions about participating in the presale.

Excessive marketing spending

While global crypto conventions and strong marketing are important for creating brand awareness and attracting potential clients, these activities should be handled with utmost responsibility. This is investors' money and shouldn't be spent recklessly, even if the company has substantial funds.

Paying significant amounts of money or tokens for marketing, celebrity collaborations, or extravagant events like yacht parties before having a real working product could be seen as a misallocation of resources. We hope the company can take this into consideration.

Conclusion

On our legitimacy meter, Lingo scores the highest - 100/100. Everything we've seen indicates a project with long-term value, implementing real token utility, and touching the latest cryptocurrency market trends. Whether the project will be the best crypto presale ever, and achieve exponential growth is for the future to reveal, but the hype is building.

This new crypto coin seems like it could be a good crypto investment, as it offers a unique opportunity for those looking to invest in new crypto coins and the latest crypto trends with narratives such as RWA, tokenized assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi), all around blockchain rewards sector.

With substantial cash reserves and aggressive marketing, Lingo has significant potential and may be worth part of your investment strategy.
