Remittix (RTX) is a crypto presale project that launched in December last year. The team presented a vision to create a remittance-focused financial solution using blockchain technology. We wrote an article about the Remittix crypto presale early on, pointing out several red flags, including an anonymous team, no product or MVP, no proof of development, and aggressive crypto marketing strategies.

Six months after the presale began, the Remittix crypto presale has raised over $15 million. With that in mind, we revisited the project to assess whether transparency had improved and if there had been any meaningful progress in terms of development, communication, or delivery.

Remittix Transparency Commitment Announcement on April 25 After $14.5M Raised

On April 25, 2025, after reaching $14.5 million in presale funding, the Remittix team issued a public statement in their Telegram group. The announcement covered what they framed as accomplishments and introduced a new commitment to transparency and investor communication.

They outlined several action items, including:

  • Bi-monthly development updates, shared across all channels
  • Monthly AMAs to open up the conversation with the community
  • Behind-the-scenes previews of everything they’re building, from wallet prototypes to API demos
  • Beta waitlist access for early testers

The announcement ended with a statement:

“You’ve backed us from the beginning, and now it’s time we bring you into the build.”

But has Remittix followed through on these new commitments? We reviewed their recent activity to check what has actually changed.

Remittix Team Reveal Milestone Removed From Roadmap After $15M Raised

The Remittix roadmap has been very shallow from the start. It includes only four levels of milestones, each with vague goals and no specific dates. However, there was one clear and important milestone that stood out in Level 3:
"Hit $18m softcap, and conduct team reveal."

This line was still visible on the roadmap as of April 1, 2025. But by April 5, it had been removed. No new milestone or commitment now exists regarding the Remittix team reveal.

When a community member asked about the change in the Telegram group, an admin responded that the team reveal would occur closer to the Remittix launch date and that the goal was removed to avoid confusion. They added that the $18 million reference was only meant as a general threshold, not a hard commitment. However, the original wording was clear. Removing it now feels like stepping back from a previously stated promise.

Although this change to the roadmap occurred shortly before the April 25 transparency announcement, the two events are close enough, and we find this roadmap update contradicts the Remittix team’s pledge.

Transparency Announcement Followed by Missed Updates and Incomplete Communication

One of the core promises in Remittix’s April 25 announcement was:

"Bi-Monthly development updates — shared across all channels"

Despite this, only one update was released in the month and a half following the announcement, far short of the three updates expected under a bi-monthly schedule. The single update was titled “PROJECT RELEASE 03”, which gives the impression that it was the third development update released. This could easily mislead anyone trying to track their actual progress.

For a project with over $15M raised, labeling it this way is misleading, especially for one claiming to focus on transparency. This kind of inconsistency adds more doubt.

AMA Skipped and Delayed, Then Conducted as Text FAQ

Remittix also committed to monthly AMAs:

"Monthly AMAs to open up the conversation with our community"

But in May, the first month following the announcement, no AMA was held. This directly contradicted their stated goal of monthly open sessions. At the beginning of June, the team did open a Q&A form where the Remittix crypto community could submit questions. They opened a Q&A form for eight days, allowing the community to submit questions. But only after processing the questions were they able to announce a date, adding further delay.

Eventually, the AMA took place on Telegram. It was conducted as a written format across several iterations, where the admin posted submitted questions one by one and a team member responded in text. In essence, this resembled a basic FAQ, not a live or engaging AMA session.

That said, the last part of the session did allow community members to ask questions live in the group chat, which the team answered on the spot.

Presale Buyers Receive Tokens with 5-Day Delay, but No Lockups for 41% of Token Supply

In response to a question in the Telegram group, a Remittix admin stated:

"There will be no vesting period for presale buyers, you will receive your tokens 5 days after the presale concludes, users will receive an airdrop to their wallet."

As the team tokens are vested for 3 years, the 5-day delay in which the presale buyer will get their entire token holding seems reasonable. If the team gets its tokens after three years, it feels there is no one to sell tokens in these five days, and the price should stay stable until the crypto investors receive their RTX tokens. However, 41% of the token supply, allocated to marketing, rewards, and other segments, has no lock-up or vesting period.

This opens the possibility that individuals or entities who received RTX tokens from the unlocked allocations, like marketing or rewards, including the Remittix team, paid influencers, or paid partners, could sell their tokens before presale participants even receive theirs. The team claims no Remittix marketing campaign was paid with RTX tokens, but crypto investors have no way to verify this without any external audit, due diligence, or even KYC for the team.

For a crypto project that has raised over $15 million and continues to operate anonymously, failing to deliver on basic transparency promises undermines trust and credibility. Remittix has already shown a pattern of changing its roadmap, skipping scheduled updates, and labeling its first release as “Project Release 03” without publishing any prior updates. Even if no tokens are sold early, all of this makes it hard to take the project seriously.
