At around 17:00 UTC yesterday, the official XYZVerse website went down without warning, leaving users unable to access their accounts during the ongoing XYZVerse coin presale. The outage lasted approximately 17 hours.

The XYZVerse team posted on Telegram and X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the site went offline, stating the downtime was related to maintenance. The XYZVerse team added on the Telegram channel that their:

“DDoS protection is working — your funds are safe”

suggesting the outage may have been triggered by a denial-of-service attack. The website returned to full functionality today at around 10:00 UTC, and users have reported being able to access their accounts and see their XYZ coin balances without issues.

What Is XYZVerse and How the XYZ Coin Presale Reached $15 Million

XYZVerse is a memecoin project promoting itself as the “G.O.A.T of memecoins”, with slogans promising no rug pulls, community-driven rewards, and long-term growth. Its roadmap includes a $XYZ presale launch, play-to-earn integrations, token generation, CEX listings, and sports collaborations with bookmaker.XYZ listed as an early ecosystem partner. The XYZ token is described as being for entertainment purposes only.

Despite raising nearly $15 million, the XYZVerse crypto presale has no product, MVP, or known team. There is no detailed roadmap, no whitepaper, and no confirmed audits. The crypto team has not completed KYC, and the launchpad platform consists only of a basic wallet tracker.

Downtime Sparks Rugpull Accusations Amid Existing Crypto Community Doubts

The website’s extended downtime immediately triggered speculation about a possible rug pull. Some users in the XYZVerse Telegram group expressed concern over the sudden silence. One member, Rafal Gajewski, wrote:

“This isn't maintenance! The server is down… They've stolen our money!!!”

His message has since been deleted by the channel moderators.

Similar worries were voiced on Reddit, with a post on TheHolyCoins subreddit warning, “XYZ website is down guys!”

Concerns about the legitimacy of the XYZVerse crypto offering have been circulating since before the outage, and TheHolyCoins previously uncovered a false KYC claim by the XYZVerse team. The absence of critical project information, combined with the openly stated lack of utility for the XYZVerse coin, has led many investors to question the project's intentions. While the website is now back online, the outage has added to an already growing list of red flags for those monitoring the xyzverse presale.
