BlockDAG Network announced on July 13, 2026, that privacy-focused blockchain project ZKP is building on its Layer-1 infrastructure. The project made the announcement in a post on X while promoting the launch of ZKP's Stage 1 token presale and a keynote presentation featuring entrepreneur Kevin O'Leary.

According to BlockDAG, ZKP will use its Layer-1 technology to support a blockchain focused on zero-knowledge privacy, private and verifiable artificial intelligence, and decentralized compute and storage. The company also highlighted its DAG-based parallel processing, Proof-of-Work security, and EVM-compatible infrastructure as the technology powering the project.

The announcement marks the first public statement from BlockDAG confirming a collaboration between the two projects. Neither the X post nor the keynote announcement disclosed the exact commercial relationship between the two projects or whether they operate under common ownership.

The announcement follows months of public scrutiny over connections between BlockDAG and ZKP. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT previously alleged that funds from both presales were commingled, with some proceeds traced to wallets associated with Spartans, while earlier reporting by TheHolyCoins covered on-chain findings published by independent researcher Jerry O'Callaghan that linked the projects through shared excha. Neither BlockDAG nor ZKP addressed those allegations in the July 13 announcement.
