Two YouTubers have reported receiving false copyright strikes on videos covering topics related to the crypto project BlockDAG Network, with both alleging that the takedown requests were submitted from official BlockDAG email accounts. As a result, YouTube removed the videos.

One creator reported receiving multiple copyright strike notices across different videos, while the other said a specific video had been taken down, one that referenced public allegations connecting BlockDAG to Gurhan Kiziloz, who is accused of financial misconduct.

These reports come amid growing online criticism of BlockDAG’s years-long presale, disputed leadership structure, and alleged ties to questionable fundraising activity. The project, which claims to build a layer-1 blockchain network with a miner app and “value era” marketing campaign, has faced scrutiny from blockchain investigator ZachXBT and has not publicly addressed the takedowns or the related allegations at the time of writing.

YouTuber Binancestuff Says Multiple Videos Were Struck by BlockDAG Network Domain Email

In a video posted to his channel, Binancestuff claimed that BlockDAG Network is attempting to take down his YouTube account. According to the YouTuber, the project filed copyright strikes against several of his videos covering BlockDAG, with the complaints submitted from an email address using the blockdag.network domain.

He stated that YouTube removed the videos upon receiving the copyright infringement claims, which aligns with the platform's typical handling of such notices. Binancestuff argued that his videos fall under fair use, stating that when he uses AMA footage, it’s similar to how some YouTubers watch concert recordings, music videos, or films and pause to comment on them. He expressed confidence that the strikes would be reversed, citing a prior case in which YouTube later removed five simultaneous copyright strikes against him.

Binancestuff suggested that the takedowns may be an attempt to extract personal contact information through YouTube’s legal dispute process, though he said the platform typically protects creators’ identities. He added that the timing coincided with a letter of intent (LOI) he said is currently in process.

Crypto Father Says Strike Targeted Video Naming Gurhan Kiziloz and Linking to Scam Allegations

In a separate video uploaded on December 10, the YouTuber Crypto Father revealed that one of his videos had been removed by YouTube after receiving a copyright complaint. The removed video, titled “BlockDAG's Co-Founder Linked to Scams,” referenced several press coverage and posts from X (formerly Twitter) by blockchain investigator ZachXBT, who has accused Gurhan Kiziloz of being the hidden co-founder behind BlockDAG and redirecting presale funds through Middle Eastern over-the-counter brokers.

Crypto Father said that no other BlockDAG videos on his channel had been targeted before, and he found it noteworthy that the only video removed was the one referencing Kiziloz. He also repeated claims that his videos about BlockDAG are frequently flooded with spam bot comments, which he believes may be coordinated attempts to discredit or suppress criticism.

Crypto Father also questioned the ongoing presale status, noting that BlockDAG has reportedly raised over $400 million without launching a functional blockchain or releasing verified tokenomics or KYC documentation. He pointed out that the project continues to promote its miner app and “awakening testnet,” while listings on platforms such as CoinMarketCap remain absent or unofficial.
