DogeBall says an external developer will bring its game to Google Play and Apple’s App Store, while Telegram remains closed to new members and X comments stay disabled pending fixes to token-logo issues.
DogeBall announced in an X post on October 31, 2026, that it had handed its game to an external developer and team for release on Google Play and Apple’s App Store. The project also said its Telegram group would remain closed to new members and X comments would stay disabled until token-logo issues across exchanges were resolved.
“We have passed the DOGEBALL game to an external developer and team to launch on the Google Play and IOS APP stores,” the project wrote in its October 31 announcement, adding that the project would not be abandoned.
DogeBall already released a very simple browser-based dogeball game playable on phones, tablets and computers. Players throw balls at targets, advance through levels and compete for leaderboard positions.
The project’s home page advertises a $1 million prize pool paid in DOGEBALL tokens, with $500,000 allocated for the top player and another $500,000 divided among the remaining nine leaders. Eligibility is restricted to presale buyers, who must enter the wallet address used for their purchases.
Its broader product plans include DOGECHAIN, which DogeBall describes as a custom Ethereum Layer-2 network for gaming, and DOGEPAY, a crypto-to-bank payments application. The DOGEPAY page promotes payments across more than 160 countries and over 30 fiat currencies, with the application marked “Coming Soon.”
Telegram Access and X Comments Remain Restricted
DogeBall said Telegram access and X comments would remain restricted until its token-logo issues across exchanges were resolved. It also said it was working to resolve a CoinGecko listing issue.
“Until our Logo issue across exchanges is resolved, the Telegram group will remain locked to new joiners and X comments will remain disabled at the same time,” the project wrote.
The Telegram restrictions began before the token’s trading launch. After closing its presale on September 28, DogeBall blocked new Telegram members. On September 30, it also warned that the Telegram link on its website directed visitors to a fake group.
DogeBall said in an October 16 post that CoinGecko had rejected its listing application while listing tokens it described as fake. The project acknowledged its low liquidity and asked CoinGecko what it needed to do to secure a listing.
The following day, it announced a second listing request, identifying application CL1710260022. By October 20, DogeBall said it had secured a CoinGecko listing and was waiting for its logo to appear on Uniswap.
The CoinGecko DOGEBALL page links to dogeballtoken.fun and identifies a different Ethereum contract from the one published at dogeballtoken.com.
Restrictions Follow Troubled Token Launch
DogeBall’s presale began on January 2, 2026, and closed on September 28 with a project-reported $317,037.19 raised from 1,085 investors.
An additional Uniswap auction followed, with a promoted starting price of $0.015 and a commitment to use the proceeds for locked trading liquidity. The auction failed, and bidders reclaimed their ETH. Before trading opened, DogeBall also offered additional tokens through a Telegram contact at $0.0003.
After the trading start was postponed from October 12 to October 14, the token launched on October 14 with only 0.04 ETH in its initial liquidity pool, worth less than $100. By October 15, DOGEBALL traded at $0.00002726, 99.8% below the $0.015 listing price used in its presale promotions.
