DogeBall announced on October 8 that a “large quantity” of DOGEBALL tokens purchased by an early presale investor had become available for sale at the original Stage 1 price of $0.0003. The offer comes after the project declared its presale closed and four days before token claims scheduled for October 12.

That price is 98% below the $0.015 starting price advertised for its Uniswap auction. Investors are being offered the same token at a price 50 times lower, raising an obvious question about why anyone would pay the higher price.

DogeBall attributed the availability to “unforeseen circumstances” but did not explain what happened, disclose the quantity available, or identify who would receive the proceeds. Instead, it instructed interested buyers to contact a Telegram user called Green Gemstone directly.

Purchased allocations would immediately appear in investors’ dashboards and be included in their balances when claims open, the announcement promised.

A Closed Presale Followed by Another Fundraising Round

DogeBall combines a dog-themed meme token with a dodgeball game and DOGECHAIN, which it describes as an Ethereum Layer-2 for gaming. Its presale began on January 2, 2026, and the project reported raising $317,037.19 from 1,085 investors before closing on September 28. The website lists an 80 billion token supply and a $0.015 launch price, implying a $1.2 billion fully diluted valuation (the price multiplied by the total supply).

Instead of moving directly from presale closure to token distribution and trading, DogeBall introduced another fundraising step. On September 30, it announced a Uniswap auction, which it said was live on October 1. As TheHolyCoins previously reported, the project advertised a $0.015 starting price and scheduled claims for October 12. Presale investors would have to wait while the project sought more buyers.

DogeBall presented the auction as a way to attract attention and fund trading liquidity, promising to lock all ETH raised in the resulting pool. However, it did not disclose the lock duration or commit to a specific amount of additional liquidity from the team.

The launch announcements also came with Telegram restrictions and a warning about a fake group. DogeBall blocked new Telegram members after closing the presale, then warned that the Telegram link on its own website redirected visitors to a scam group. It offered no explanation for the faulty link.

Now comes another sale, arranged through a Telegram account, at a fraction of the auction’s advertised starting price. Existing investors are still waiting for their tokens, yet the project keeps finding ways to ask for more money.
